Unfortunately, new millennia magic is but a shadow of its former self. It's freaking vanilla, to say the least but it is what it is. Where spells once crackled with the fury of a thousand storms, now simmer just under a boil, like a gentle flame struggling to stay lit. The ancestors, etched in the fabric of time, wielded power with an untamed wildness. Respectfully, it's obligatory to stress the fact that their magic was a raw mega-force, binding the elements, manipulating fates - literally weaving the fabric of reality. They were conduits of the ancient, untamed power that rumbled beneath the surface of the world. The modern witch, however, faces a different reality. The world hums with noises of technology, the air thick with the hum of unseen energies. And all the distractions zapping away at our attention! Ok, granted, there are a few "spiritualistic" persons with that boom-boom-pow magical strength but there's no way in hell to convince them to come forth. Why?! Ahem: The majority of society is ignorant af. The populace would probably react the same way to witches as they would to aliens. So, forget about it, not going to happen. The only silver lining on this cloud is that there are some of you out there that have always known you're a bit "unusual". Not only that, but you are also ready to activate yourself. Blessed be!
